ShakeDown
Summer is around the corner, are you ready? The ShakeDown can help you jumpstart your metabolism, it can break through a plateau that you have hit, and it can detoxify the body. As a result of these things you may lose a few pounds as your body flushes the junk.
The Goal of the 3 day ShakeDown is to rid your system of toxins, achieve nutrient efficiency, and reduce bloating while possibly losing a few pounds. As a result you will feel lighter, healthier, and more energetic. Your hydration levels will stablize as you flush your system. This will all help your body absorb a lot of good clean nutrients. This 3 day program is more of a jumpstart for the system. A healthier body is the goal, and as a result you may drop a few pounds of junk that your body doesn’t need.
Let’s all work out together, eat right, and reach our goals as a team. For those of you from Nike+ you probably know about my pound down challenges that I’ve had over the years. Well, it is time for another one. Many people have dropped pounds during those challenges.
We all need motivation to live a healthier lifestyle. This challenge will help us all achieve our goals.
Now you might ask why is this challenge called ShakeDown? Well, we are getting ready to shake off the extra pounds and be Summer ready. The secret weapon in this installment of Pound Down is the meal replacement/Enhancement Shakeology.
Here is a 12 minute video that will provide you with more information on what shakeology is.

Here are a few comparison slides for Shakeology vs Breakfast, Lunch, & other “healthy” drinks.

Wow. This menu seems extreme to me. Can I still train for a 100 mile trail race on this plan?? I do not seek to loose weight, just clean out “the junk”!

Hi Annette, If you were going to do that training, you wouldn’t want to just do the shakes, you would want to add your normal menu and do the addition of the shakes. If you had a 3 day window without any big running you could do this cleanse with the menu above. Hope this helps. let me know if you have any questions.

I’m almost 1/2 way through my Insanity/Hybrid… and I’m kinda holding out to see what comes out of those announcements with regards to Coaching in Canada before I try Shakeology, but my curiosity is definitely up there!! 😀
