I started a 3 day Shakeology Cleanse yesterday.  Basically, the program works like this, you replace your 3 meals with a Shakeology shake, then for dinner you have a salad with some chicken.  This 3 day cleanse will help detoxify your body, and help you lean up and drop a few pounds of fat over the course of 3 days.  For the first day, I felt great, wasn’t hungry more than usual, and felt good all day.  Energized and ready to tackle the day.

I did miss my morning run, but I made it up in the evening.  I ran 4 miles and then followed it up with a relaxed P90X KenpoX workout.  I could really feel the difference in energy with taking 3 shakes.  My normal day is a shake in the morning with a banana and peanut butter.  But during the cleanse, I’m taking Chocolate Shakeology by itself without any added ingredients.  In the morning and in the evening, I used the blender to make my shake.  At lunch I used the shaker cup.

Here is a break down of my food intake (I varied a little due to a late night) and a breakdown of my calories burned from exercise.

Monday Meals

Breakfast – Chocolate Shakeology – 140 Calories
Snack – Apple – 100 Calories
Lunch – Chocolate Shakeology – 140 Calories
Snack – 10 Cashews – 120 calories
Dinner – Chocolate Shakeology – 140 Calories
– Protein Bar – 280 calories
Snack – Snack Bar – 150 Calories
– 2 32 oz G2 – 200 calories

Total Calories consumed – 1270 calories

Monday Exercise

4 Mile Run = 550 Calories
1 hour KenpoX = 500 calories

Total Calories burned = 1050

I will update tomorrow with my day 2.  So far, I only got 4 hours of sleep, but I don’t feel tired or sluggish.
